califone's two previously out of print ep's originally released on u.s. labels flydaddy and roadcone - plus two bonus tracks recorded during the same time period (1998-2000). tim rutili and accomplices from red red meat - ben massarella, brian deck and tim hurley - get together to bring on the thumping sound of a backwater-electronic hoedown where mournful vocals, troubled synths and creaky guitars comingle under the mayflies to make a beautiful plea. co-release with roadcone records. great cover design by jeremy yoder (2002)
