Here's the latest from oRSo ....with a blend of appalachian chamber music and ethnic folk styles, Phil Spirito quietly creates a mood of lonely, contented melancholia. His unique melodically rhythmic banjo and guitar playing are enhanced by viola, breathy sax and thumping double bass. The interweaving melodies of the quartet and his gentle singing voice produce a comforting bed of sound. This group has wrapped up the very best of oRSo and eased it into a nice warm bath.
